Today I went shopping with one of my best friends at the new thrift store in my hometown.
I was there looking for shorts but I was unable to find any that I liked. I found skirts that I liked but the prices were not worth it in my opinion. Yes shopping at a thrift store will save you money but then again sometimes their prices are still not a fair price. Though you can not be picky in a thrift store, for you are not always going to find the same items at a regular outlet at a decent price.
While I was there I found three shirts that I liked. I then found out later on that my favorite shirt that I bought from there, was from my favorite store "rue21". I was very happy for that because I then knew that it was worth the price I was paying for it.
Once I was done shopping, I went to the register. While at the register I found a white stuffed bunny and I had to get it. When the items were all priced up, I recieved a discount for it was Sunday and I only paid $4.55 for three shirts and a stuffed animal.
After shopping there, we went to the mall and I found a pair of socks with my favorite Disney Princess, Ariel. I brought the socks up to register and asked for them to be scanned for it did not have a price tag. The socks were priced at $1, for they were from Christmas. I was very happy with that price and bought them.
After the mall, my friend wanted to go home and I brought my stuff inside to show my husband. He saw all the items I bought and he was shocked with how little I spent and how much I had left.
When I go shopping for myself, I always look for the best deals. With everything I bought and how much I had left, I was so happy with myself that I treated my husband to lunch. I now have no money left but I am very happy with everything I bought.
The photos below are the items I bought.
I hope everyone had A Thrifty Sunday like I did and recieved the best deals available!
